3 Days Gorilla Tracking Rwanda Parc National des Volcanoes (PNV)

This adventure experience journeys you to Parc National des Volcanoes (PNV) in the North of Rwanda where about 300 mountain gorillas live. You can track gorillas, climb the Visoke volcano, track the golden monkeys or visit the Karisoke Research Centre, which Dian Fossey the famous primatologist set up for the love of mountain endangered gorillas, or visit local villages.


Day 1: Kigali

Upon your arrival at Kanombe international airport, our driver/guide will meet and exchange greetings. Thereafter transfer to Kigali City for your dinner and overnight at Kigali Serena Hotel. Meal plan: Half-Board.

Day 2: Kigali-Volcanoes


Early breakfast and after journey on a good tarmac road for two hours North of Kigali to Kinigi or Muko via Ruhengeri. Enjoy the rolling hills for which Rwanda is famous of. Transfer to Kinigi Park Headquarter First Gorilla trek in the park. There is also option of climbing the awesome Visoke volcano, or trek to Karisoke Research Centre which Dian Fossey, the famous primatologist, set up, or visit local communities. Alternatively for those who are not up to it, simply relax at Camp and enjoy local traditional performances. Dinner and overnight: Gorillas Nest Lodge. Meal plan: Full-Board.


Day 3: Volcanoes-Kigali


With availability of time, enjoy city tour including a Genocide memorial site and shopping of African art and craft. With lunch en-route and then transfer to airport for your home flight. End of Services, Meal plan: Half-Board.
