Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe Airport
Welcome to Uganda the Pearl of Africa! After a safe landing at our airport in Entebbe, our driver will transfer you to The Lodge/ Hotel Triangle. Rest and relax after this long flight and prepare for the next day of adventure.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
Depart Kampala for Murchison Falls National Park. On your way, check out the Zziwa sanctuary, Kaniyo Pabidi. Check in at Sambiya lodge and have lunch. Take a launch cruise on the Murchison falls. Spot schools of hippos, large crocodiles, and small herds of buffalo, a rich birdlife on the papyrus banks, lookout for the shoebill stork. Go to the Top of the falls, such a lovely scene for viewing the fall and having picnics. Return to Sambiya Lodge (mid-range)/Red Chili Rest Camp (budget) or Paraa Safari Lodge (luxury) FB.

Day 3: Game drive/ Launch cruise   
Set off for an early game view drive on the North of the Nile.  Check out lions, buffaloes, waterbuck, Jackson’s hartebeest, oribi and baboons are some of the animals you will spot. In next to no time, take a launch cruise on the Victoria Nile River. Spot schools of hippos, large crocodiles, small herds of buffalo. There is rich birdlife on the papyrus banks, watch out for the shoebill stork, the most sought after bird in Africa.  Camp or lodge at Sambiya Lodge (mid-range)/ Red Chili Rest Camp (budget)/ Paraa Safari Lodge (luxury) FB.
Day 4: Night Game drive in Semliki
Transfer to Semliki National Park after taking breakfast. This is another beautiful park though seldom visited. Semuliki has over 60 mammal species including forest buffalos, leopards, pygmy hippos and Mona Monkeys. There are 8 primate species, 300 butterfly species and more than 400 bird species, for example the lyre-tailed honey guide. About 216 of these species (66% of the country’s total bird species) are true forest birds, including the rare Forest Ground Thrush and Sassi’s Olive. Do a night game drive and spot small and big predators such as the civet cat, slender mongoose, leopards and the largest lions and birds like owls, pennant-winged and standard –winged nightjars. Dine and sleep at Semuliki Safari Lodge (luxury) FB.

Day 5: Hot springs/ Boat ride
 Follow a short guided trail to Sempaya Hot springs, the highlight of Semuliki national Park! These hot springs have water emerging from underneath and shooting up at very hot temperatures hot enough to boil an egg. It is such an evocative and speculative sight worth checking out! Besides that, there are primates like the red-tailed monkey, grey-checked mangabey easily spotted along the trail and other pretty birds like Frasier’s ant-thrush and honey guide greenbul. Take lunch and return for more adventure. Take a boat trip on Lake Albert and enjoy the breeze and sightings of more wildlife like the hippos. At the end of the day return to Semuliki Safari lodge. Day 6: Transfer to Kibale National Park
head off to Kibale National Park. Enjoy this scenic ride to Kibale. Kibale national park has the highest concentration of primates in East Africa including chimps, black and white colobus monkeys, blue monkeys and baboons. Go for an afternoon primate walk to Kanyanchu river camp, the most popular walk in the park. It highlights a medley of flora and fauna within the forest. Return to Ndali Lodge (luxury) /Primates Lodge (budget) FB.

Day 7: Chimpanzee tracking/ Primate walk
 Awaken to a fine day ready to track chimps near Kanyanchu after enjoying tea. There are primates in the area like the golden monkey, L’Hoest monkey, baboons, white and black colobus monkeys, grey checked mangabey, red colobus, blue monkeys and pottos. Other animals involve forest elephants unique from the common type, giant forest hogs and a striking tree species. Later take a guided nature walk to Bigodi swamp sanctuary, a good site for ornithologists. The Great Blue Turaco and Papyrus Gonolek can easily be marked among the other bird 137 species plus an array of butterfly species. Return to Ndali Lodge (luxury) /Primates Lodge (budget) FB for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After an early breakfast, proceed to Queen Elizabeth N.P.  Carry out a game drive in the Mweya Peninsular that has a magnificent location of the Rwenzori glacial peaks.  Check out Lake Katwe and other small crater lakes. Take dinner and stay overnight at Mweya Safari lodge (luxury) /Simba Safari Camp (budget) FB.

Day 9:  Game drive/ launch cruise
After a cup of coffee, start the day with a game drive in the Kasenyi plains that will lead you to see black and white Colobus, bush buck, Uganda Kob, topi, Defassa waterbuck, and Cape buffaloes. A range of birds like Cassin’s grey flycatcher, broad billed roller, black bee-eater along the banks of Lake Edward. This can take you 2-3 hrs. In the evening, go for a launch cruise on Kazinga channel along lake George-lake Edward, come eye-eye with yawning hippos, crocodiles, leopards though sporadic.  Watch birds for birders with over 550 resident species like flamingos, red chest, papyrus Gonolek, pink backed pelicans, malachite kingfishers, yellow crown, pink backed pelicans, water thick-knee, yellow-billed stork, shoebill stock. Do not forget your camera. Return to Mweya Safari Lodge (Budget) /Simba Safari Camp (budget) FB.

Day 10: Ishasha/ Bwindi
Enjoy breakfast and go on a game drive in the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth called Ishasha plains famous for tree-climbing lions usually spotted on sycamore fig tress lying in wait for their prey. Directly connect to Bwindi forest. Welcome to Bwindi where gorillas are the centre of attraction, a distinct feature for Uganda’s tourism. Bwindi national park, Mgahinga National Park alongside Rwanda’s Volcanoes Park and Congo’s Virunga Volcanoes are habitats to the only endangered mountain gorillas left in the whole world. Sleep at Gorilla Forest Camp/Gorilla Resort (luxury)/Buhoma community Bandas (budget) FB.

Day 11: Gorilla tracking/ nature walk
At daybreak, get up and take tea then set off for gorilla tracking in Bwindi forest.  Enjoy this long (5hrs) scenic drive to southwest Uganda. The central feature on way is higher peaks of Mountain Rwenzori, the highest mountain in Uganda, third highest in Africa after Kilimanjaro and Kenya. Welcome to Bwindi where gorillas are the centre of attraction, a distinct feature for Uganda’s tourism. Day 12: Transfer to Rwanda
After enjoying that great experience of the gorillas in Bwindi, we will proceed for the one more prime destination  for gorillas in Rwanda based in Parc National des Volcans PNV) Volcanoes is part of the Virunga mountains which has different peaks like Bisoke, Karisimbi, Muhabura, Sabyinyo. Day 13: Gorilla tracking in PNV
Arise early morning and take breakfast then advance to the park head quarters for briefing. Go for gorilla trekking in the Volcanoes forest where you will be amazed by the huge size of the silverback, the behavior and communicating skills of these unique creatures among other things. Use this moment to learn and discover all there is about the gorillas. Stay overnight at Kinigi Guesthouse (budget) / Gorilla Nest House (luxury) FB

Day 14: Golden monkey
After breakfast, carry out a forest walk in search of the rare golden monkeys. Check out other primates like L’Hoest monkeys and chimpanzees. There is a big bird checklist should you be paying attention to.  Retire back to dinner and overnight at Gisakura Guest House (luxury) /ORPTN (budget) FB

Day 15: Transfer to Uganda, Lake Bunyonyi
Transfer to Uganda and branch off in Kabale to marvel at Lake Bunyonyi; another major tourist stopover that is definitely amazing. The word Bunyonyi means “small birds” in direct translation. This means that the lake is a must stopover for committed birders and besides that, its serpentine shape and numerous islands. When you reach do a canoe ride, check out several islands like Bwama Island good for birders or you could take a nature walk helping you to appreciate a variety of small birds. Day 16:  Canoe ride, birding
 Lake Bunyonyi is famous for harboring a huge checklist of small birds.  Take a bamboo walk that involves a hike through Rushaya village and a swampy part of Echuya Forest reserve or you can take a walk on the lakeshore near Rutinda or visit the local Batwa communities along with enjoy their cultural dances. Day 17: Transfer to Lake Mburo, game drive/boat trip
 Have breakfast and proceed to Lake Mburo. Begin with a game drive and check out Uganda’s wildlife such as zebra, warthog, buffalo, klipspringer, eland, oribi and waterbuck. Better yet, you can do the game drive on ATV quad bikes; they are much fun.  Also, go for a boat trip on Lake Mburo where you will see several other lakes like Kazuma, Lake Bwa besides Lake Mburo. Gaze at the huge hippos, crocodiles and buffaloes as they drink water. There are striking birds to check out like Abyssinian ground hornbill, the crested crane (Uganda’s national emblem), saddle bill storks among others. Day 18: nature guided walk/ Kampala
The best place to start with is the salt lick, a viewing podium for animals where they come to lick salt.  There are walks particular to ornithologists like the Rubanga forest where one can check out different bird species. Stay overnight at Rwonyo Camp (budget) / Mantana Tented camp (luxury) FB

Day 19: City tour
Transfer to Kampala and do a city tour. Come face-face with Uganda’s rich and authentic culture as you learn about diverse ethnic groups. Gain knowledge about Uganda’s history and customs by visiting the National Museum and admire what Ugandans have labored to achieve in the past plus the Independence monument at Sheraton Gardens. Check out the old colonial buildings- the Parliament, National Theater, Makerere University, Bank of Uganda, Mulago hospital and Old Kampala. Have lunch and thereafter continue to touring the Ugandan community.  Get to visit the famous Kasubi Tombs, Bulange and Lubiri palace of the Buganda and nearby biggest church in Uganda, Miracle Centre Cathedral. Day 20: Transfer to Jinja- Mabira/Source of the Nile
Depart Kampala and drive to Jinja.  It is in Jinja where you stumble on the source of the River Nile, the longest river in Africa.  On your to Jinja there are quite thrilling things to check out. Stopover at Mabira forest where you will encounter diurnal primates like red-tailed and a big bird community of over 300 species of which you can spot some birds like Nahan’s francolin.  Red-tailed monkeys and the elusive black and white colobus are also common.  After, we move on to our main destination Jinja.  Jinja is located at northern end and east bank of Lake Victoria. Finally we get to water rafting, the best activity. Shooting the rapid is an ‘adrenaline-pumping experience’ and not for the weak hearted; it brings fantastic fun but demands physical fitness. Spend the entire day testing the steep rapids of the Nile. Stay overnight in Sunset Hotel (mid-range) /Nile Resort Hotel (luxury) FB.

Day 21: Water rafting/ Bungee jumping
After breakfast, we will go on a 4-hour quad bike safari. Get to drive on quad bikes through the lush countryside around Bujagali village. Drive yourself over some of the most beautiful terrain in the world. No experience is required and all protective clothing is provided such as boots, overalls. This may as well turn out to be one of the most fascinating experience for first-timers.  Spend the afternoon relaxing off or ride along the shores of the Nile on the back of a horse, kayaking or the more astounding bungee jumping where you will scream your heart out!  Stay overnight at Sunset Hotel (Budget)/Jinja Nile Resort (luxury) FB.
Day 22: Transfer to Mt Elgon Hike
Relocate to Mount Elgon found in the Eastern part of Uganda, Mbale. The Mountain has the largest surface areas of any extinct volcano in the world and 4th highest in Africa. Mount Elgon has the most beautiful caves, cliffs, gorges and waterfalls in the country. Day 23:  Sipi Falls
 Press on northwards to Mbale. Passing through the beautiful Tororo town, glance at the Tororo Rock, a prominent rock that rises up to 300 meters. We proceed to Kapchwora to Sipi Village, nestled between mountains and waterfalls. Get to enjoy a hike to the lovely Sipi Falls. Take a walk to the bottom of the famous waterfall and then continue with a steep climb to a series of caves. Experience this challenging trail as you check trail to the other waterfalls. Cool off with a natural shower and enjoy the breathtaking views over the valley. The waterfall leaves with a magnificent sunset, one you will never experience again. Relax as the sun spreads its final ray of lights over de plains of Eastern Uganda. Feel the thrill of your life as you watch the waterfalls. Enjoy dinner and sleep over at Sipi Falls Resort (FB).

Day 24: Transfer to Ngamba Islands Chimp Sanctuary
 Transfer to Entebbe at UWEC (Uganda Wildlife Educational Centre)/ Entebbe Zoo. The Island guide will meet you to brief you about the Island. You will transfer from land by a motor speedboat to the island.  You will ride across the shores of Lake Victoria the second largest fresh water in the world.  Crossing over to Ngamba Island takes 45 minutes. Welcome to Ngamba Island, home to 39-orphaned chimpanzees!  Ngamba islands are part of the archipelago Koome group of islands. After arrival, it is feeding time!  Watch the chimps interact with each other and feed. You will notice we as humans have so much in common with these lovely creatures like the way they grab food, eat and chew it, clap among other behaviors. In the evening, go for a nature forest walk or do birding. Relax and dine at Ngamba Island tented Camp (FB)

Day 25: Forest walk
After breakfast, if you have approved medical qualifications go for a forest walk on the island. Get intimate with our closest relatives as they climb you, pull your hair, or just walk along holding your hand! Enjoy lunch. It is really a fascinating experience! Take a walk in the forest in search for birds or relax at the lakeshores. After, transfer back to the mainland in Entebbe and later to Kampala. Stay overnight at The Lodge (FB)

Day 26:  direct to Entebbe Airport
Depart for your home flight and this marks the end of this trip.
