Uganda  12 days Queen Elizabeth N.P and Murchison Falls National Park, Lake Mburo N.P and Lake Bunyonyi safari, tour to search for Rhinos, lions, leopard, elephant, giraffe, buffalo, hyena, hippos,  , antelopes, etc
 Murchison Falls National Park is the largest in Uganda at 3840 square kilometres. Here is the awe inspiring Murchison Falls where the River Nile hurls itself in convulsions through a narrow crevice and then plunges 40 metres in one breathtaking leap. The park has a variety of vegetation ranging from riparian forests and swamp lands to broad savannah, and provides visitors the opportunity of seeing large concentrations of wildlife including lion, leopard, civet, hyena, elephant, giraffe, buffalo, hippo, crocodile, a host of smaller game, small primates and many bird species, including the rare shoebill stork. The park is especially famous for crocodiles and hippos. Apart from game viewing, the launch trip to the bottom of the Falls is another memorable adventure giving you the experience of the mighty Biblical Nile. On the launch you may see schools of crocodiles and hippos basking on the river banks as well as a variety of birds.

ITINERARY

Day 1: Briefing on the safari, and start your tour to Murchison Falls National Park safari with a to visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
Meet and greet and thereafter, we drive through the famous Luwero triangle.

We check in to Amuka Lodge which is an up-market luxury lodge, the rooms being a combination of tented material, reclaimed wood left at a former nearby sawmill and natural stone. There is a swimming pool, restaurant and bar area and you are in one of the most amazing places in Uganda, Amuka Lodge at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Not only will you enjoy the Lodge itself, but the food is simply fabulous both in serving tasty dishes and their presentation to you. Enjoy your meal in the African wild of Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. After lunch you are off to meet the Rhinos, not just from a vehicle but up close – great opportunities of these fabulous animals – there is other wildlife to be found here, so keep your eyes open so you do not miss any and your guide will also point any other wildlife. Birders will find this a most fascinating place and best to keep the binoculars handy since an abundance of bird species is found here. Dinner is another delightful culinary treat prepared for you by the Chef of Amuka Lodge and one of our clients stated that the meals at Amuka Lodge where the best they had in Uganda (they stayed in some very nice places) Overnight at Amuka Lodge  (Self-contained rooms with 1 deluxe bed);

From here we will continue onto our accommodation place along the Nile River. In a most delightful setting – afterwards sit outside of your room and take in the sounds of the African night in the bush.                                                                                                                                                  Accommodation options available (all on full board basis)

Along this stretch of the river, there are reported to be around 4,000 hippos in addition to some enormous Nile crocodiles. The bird life is stunning with brightly colored kingfishers and bee-eaters darting along the riverbanks. On arrival to the Kasenyi gate, you will follow the ground crew to the site that has been chosen for lift off. The specific location changes daily based on current wind and weather conditions.
 When you arrive at the take off point, you will meet your pilot and be given a safety briefing and instructions for boarding the balloon as well as landing procedures. As the ground crew unpacks the balloon, passengers can sip on a steaming cup of coffee or tea and watch the cold inflation of the balloon. This is done using two large petrol powered fans that fill the balloon with cold air.
You will be in air space for approximately an hour; you will float over the savannah of Queen Elizabeth NP. The pilot will fly at varying altitudes during your flight to give you different perspectives, taking advantage of the wind currents at the varying altitudes. No two flights are the same ensuring that your experience is truly unique. The flight gives passengers great photo opportunities that are different from an ordinary safari on the ground. As you gently drift over the park, you can watch the sun rise as savannah below come to life with birds and animals.
 After landing, in keeping with an old ballooning tradition, the pilot and passengers celebrate the flight with a glass of sparkling wine. In the days before modern Uganda came into being, the area had a series of fiercely independent tribal states. The once nomadic Bahima people, part of Bantu-speaking Ankole kingdom, are renowned for the particular bond they forge with their unique, long-horned Ankole cattle. These hardy cattle respond to their individual names when called by their male herder; he in turn lives in close harmony with them. From here you continue to Lake Mburo, a small but picturesque national park renowned for its herds of antelope and one of the only two Ugandan parks home to Buchell’s zebra. After your early morning activities, return the lodge for a late breakfast on the wooden decking overlooking the water hole. Before lunch you can relax at the pool, the bar area or enjoy the privacy of your room. In the afternoon you can go on a game drive to Kazuma Look-out Point with a stunning view onto 9 of the lakes surrounding this Park.
