Gorilla Safari Lodge


Gorilla Safari Lodge is an up market facility tucked away at the boundary line of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest - home of the endangered mountain gorilla.

It is the ideal base from which to trek the Nshongi group of Gorillas, the biggest group ever habituated. The lodge offers accommodation in eight, en suite spacious luxurious units with individual verandahs allowing excellent views towards the pristine tropical rain forest. All bathrooms have hot and cold running water and flush toilets.

Getting There
By Air: Charter Flights from Entebbe or Kajjansi to Kisoro, with a road transfer from the airstrip in Kisoro to the lodge.
By Road: Travel from Kampala, crossing the Equator, through Mbarara to Kabale.
Kampala – Kabale = 427km
Once you reach Kabale, break off and drive past Muko to Nshongi where the lodge is located
