The 4 Days Double Gorilla Trekking Safari takes you to Bwindi impenetrable national park, this park is a home to half of mountain gorillas. It is noted that Bwindi protects like 400 species of mountain gorillas and it has now 10 gorilla families launched for gorilla trekking safari, gorilla tours, gorilla safaris in Uganda, gorilla expeditions, gorilla Rwanda Uganda safaris. More activities to encounter at this park include the bird watching, nature walk safaris, and the Batwa cultural performances!
4 DAYS DOUBLE GORILLA TREKKING AND GOLDEN MONKEY TRACKING IN BWINDI FOREST AND MGAHINGA PARK (Fly in and out of Kigali Airport)
Day 1 - Visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial and Transfer from Kigali- Rwanda to Bwindi gorilla forest Park
On arrival at Kigali Airport or from your booked Hotel in Kigali, our safari guide will meet you, visit Kigali Genocide memorial and then transfer you to Bwindi forest national park. Dinner and overnight at Kiho Lodge/ Buhoma lodge/Bwindi lodge/Gorilla safari lodge/ Lake Mutanda Lodge/Mt. Gahinga Lodge/ Gorilla Height lodge (luxury), Traveler's rest Kisoro/Bakiga Lodge/Rushaga Gorilla camp/Mucha lodge (Mid-range) Rushaga Gorilla Camp - budget rooms/ Ruhija Camp/Bwindi view /Buhoma the Community Banda's (budget)
Day 2 – 1st. Gorilla trekking in Bwindi forest and Transfer to Kisoro near Mghainga park
Have an early breakfast and get ready for briefing and trekking, which begins at 8:00 am and 9:00 am respectively with a briefing from the UWA staff. Ensure to carry along with you rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, jungle boots etc. The guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy Primates for a group you have been booked for.
Do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. Tracking may take between 2 to 6 hours but it is well worth the effort. After the trek, transfer to Kisoro near Mgahinga National Park. Dinner and overnight at Imbongo lodge/Mt. Gahinga Lodge (luxury), Traveler's rest Kisoro/ Mucha lodge (Mid-range) Virunga hotel Kisoro (budget)
Day 3 – Golden Monkey Tracking in Mgahinga park
Take morning breakfast and go to Mgahinga National Park to Track Golden monkeys which is 4 hours exercise. Return to the lodge for Dinner and overnight at Imbongo lodge/Mt. Gahinga Lodge (luxury), Traveler's rest Kisoro/ Mucha lodge (Mid-range) Virunga hotel Kisoro (budget)
Day 4 – 2nd. Gorilla Trekking in Mgahinga park and drive back to Kigali Rwanda for your late departure flight
Like the previous gorilla trek, you will follow the same procedures to trek the gorillas. Afterwards, you will drive back to Kigali Rwanda and be dropped off at a place of of your interest or Airport for your late departure.
