During the handover, Gutjahr said,
“Airtel Uganda is very passionate about supporting women causes in
Uganda, as evidenced by the various activities we have done in support
of women throughout March. This is why the proceeds from the run, just
like last year, will go to the fight against fistula in women and girls
in Uganda.”
Gutjahr concluded by pledging “…future
commitment and support to the Buganda Kingdom, its people and its
activities, as we unite to maintain the good glory of this Kingdom.”
“We would like to thank Airtel Uganda
for consistently supporting Buganda Kingdom and its activities,”
commented Buganda Kingdom Minister of Sports Mr. Sekabembe Henry as he
was receiving the kits.
“These kits are going to be handed out to everyone who has registered for the Kabaka Run,” he added.
This Sunday 12 / 4 /2015 join the fight against fistula in the Kabaka’s run. The marathon starts from Lubiri, Mengo.
