Akagera ( loosely translated as a small river) is above all, big game country! Herds of elephant and buffalo can be seen emerging from the woodland to drink at the lakes, if you are a lucky visitors you might stumble across a spotted hyena or even a stray lion. When it comes to adventure , nothing beats a coming to face to face with zebra and Giraffe amble through the savannah, and more than a dozen types of antelope which are inhabited in the park, most commonly the handsome chestnut-coated impala, but also the diminutive oribi and secretive bushbuck, as well as the ungainly tsessebe and the world's largest antelope.

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Akagera.

You will be picked from the lodge and then drive to Akagera National Park. On arrival you will do an afternoon game drive which will treat you with wild animals like Giraffes, Buffaloes, Spotted Hyenas, Elephants, Crocodiles, Hippos and plenty of bird life. Dinner and overnight at Akagera Game Lodge is served . Meal plan Lunch and Dinner

Day 2: Game drive

After you have breakfast , then you go for a game drive where you may spot various wild animals. Return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon you will go for An exciting and entertaining boat ride on Lake Ihema. And if you are lucky, you might spot various water animals such as the hippos and crocodiles. Dinner and overnight at Akagera Game Lodge. Meal plan breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 3: Departure.

Have breakfast and drive to Kigali, go for a city tour, while in Kigali city you can visit the museum, the genocide memorial, site and other cultural sites. Later transfer to the airport for departure.
