You want to trek gorillas and you have limited time? This 3 day gorilla safari is then perfect for you. You will spend three days in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park located in southwestern Uganda and home to half of the endangered mountain gorillas (approximately 400 individuals). En route visits include stopover at the equator and beautiful scenery in the country side. Depending on availability of gorilla permits at the time of confirmation, you may trek gorillas in Buhoma, Ruhija, Rushaga or Nkuringo as different habituated gorilla families are located in different regions of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

3 DAY GORILLA TRACKING ITINERARY

Day one: Pickup from your Hotel and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Day Two: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Day three: Drive back to Kampala/Entebbe with stops at the Equator


DAY 01: BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL.

Our guide will pick you at your doorstep after breakfast, and then depart from Entebbe\Kampala by road and head south-West to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Have a stopover for some informative talk and photographic opportunity and some experiment at the Equator and then continue to Mbarara for Lunch. Travel through the rolling green hills of Banana and Tea plantations and head to the National Park.
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Lodge: Buhoma Community Rest Camp\Nkuringo Gorilla Camp.

Drive time: 9-10 hours.

DAY 02: GORILLA TREKKING DAY
Early morning, breakfast with your packed lunch, you will report to the Park headquarters for registration and join other trackers in a briefing about the dos and the don’ts during your Gorilla Tracking at 7:45 am. You will trek through thick creepers and undergrowth with your guides to find the Gorillas, which can take you half an hour to three quarters of the day. The steeply forested landscape is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. It is an extraordinary feeling being with these beautiful yet endangered Creatures.

DAY 03: DEPARTURE
After an early morning breakfast, you will drive back to Kampala\ Entebbe International Airport for your flight out late in the evening. End of your Safari.

Our standard mode of transport is by road and we use 4×4 Safari Vans customized for game viewing and photography. Each safari van comes with a professionally trained driver guide and fuel for the whole safari. Our Safari vans have viewing hatches and each client is entitled to a window seat. Our Vans can take up to eight people.

UPGRADING
Our Safari vehicles We have luxury latest Land cruisers each driven by professionally trained driver guides and fuel. They have pop up roofs for proper game viewing and photography. They come with a small fridge for cooling your drinking water while on safari (which is always included while IN THE VEHICLE). They have invertors for charging small gargets such as your smart phones and cameras. They can seat five to a maximum of seven people and each client is guaranteed of a window seat.
