Detailed itinerary ;
Day 1: Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Have breakfast and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park which is about 420km via Mbarara and 410km via Kasese about 5-6 hours from Kampala on surface road via Mbarara. On arrival you will have lunch and then spend the rest of the afternoon at leisure. Dinner and overnight at the lodge of choice depending on the class of safari chosen.

Day 2: game drive and launch cruise
Have breakfast and then go for an early morning game drive then return to your lodge for a late breakfast and later on your lunch. In the afternoon go for a launch cruise along the Kazinga channel where you will spot various water birds and animals. Dinner and overnight at the lodge of choice depending on the class of safari chosen.

Have breakfast and leave for chimpanzee trekking in Kyambura Gorge to track the fast moving and indefinable chimpanzees. After lunch go for a nature walk in Maramagambo Forest to see other primates, the bat cave and the blue lake.
Return to the lodge of choice depending on the class of safari chosen.

Day 4: Ishasha sector tour.
After breakfast you will drive to Inshasha sector, on arrival you will go for a game drive, where you might spot tree climbing lions, and other animals like elephants,,Buffaloes, monkeys,antelope species,baboons and birds  among others. Return to the lodge for lunch and relax the rest of the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at the lodge of choice depending on the class of safari chosen.


Day 5: Transfer to Bwindi
After breakfast you will drive to Bwindi having lunch en route. Dinner and overnight at the your lodge of choice depending on the class of safari chosen.

Day 6: Gorilla trekking
Have breakfast and then go for a briefing and after go for trekking, this could take 1-8 hours depending on the movements of these gorillas. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Transfer to Rwanda.
After breakfast you will transfer to Rwanda. Arrive in time for lunch, then proceed to Parc Nationale des volcanoes. Dinner and overnight at the lodge of choice depending on the class of safari chosen.

Day 8: Gorilla trekking.
After breakfast, you will drive to the park headquarters where you will meet the ranger guides. After the briefing you will begin the search of mountain Gorillas. The trek can be quite tough that it takes a lot of time approximately 2-8 hours. After the trekking, Transfer to Nyungwe forest. Dinner and Overnight at the lodge of choice depending on the class of safari chosen

Day 9: Chimpanzee trekking safari.
After breakfast go for chimp trekking, you may spot other primates like the colobus monkeys plus viewing other inhabitants of the forest like birds and butterflies, return to the lodge for late lunch. After lunch relax at the lodge. Dinner and overnight as above

Day 10: Have optional relaxed activities in Kivu.
Have breakfast, drive to Gisenyi and participate in optional relaxing/leisure activities like swimming, a boat ride and sun bathing that will refresh you from the tiresome activities. Dinner and overnight at the lodge

Day 2: Volcanoes National Park
After our breakfast, start your Rwanda gorilla tracking safari by driving for half a kilometer to the  head quarters for briefing by park officials and after enter into the jungle to search for the shy mountain endangered gorillas in Rwanda. Requirements like walkable shoes, hut, insect repellent, sun screen, rain gears, packed lunch and bottled water are a must plus other tools that one may need once in the tropical rain forest. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight. Meal plan: Full-Board.

Day 3: Dian Fossey Centre – Kigali city
After an early morning breakfast, trek to the Dian Fossey Centre and learn about all the good work she did to save the Rwanda mountain gorillas. It was her effort that helped to conserve these  Gorillas in Rwanda and she is therefore respected by all conservationists. If lucky enough, you will enjoy these apes/mountain gorillas in their typical mist. Return to the lodge for your lunch and later drive to Kigali city having an en-route city tour as you head to the airport for your flight back home or to your lodge for dinner and overnight. Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Kinigi for your Gorilla Tracking

Depart from Kigali city with a private vehicle and guide. Transfer to Volcanoes National Park the home of gorilla tracking activity in Rwanda with private vehicle and driver.
Ranging in altitude from 2400km to 4,507 the Volcanoes National Park (French: Parc National des Volcans) is dominated by the setting of volcanoes after which it is named. Best known to the outside world as the place where for almost 20yrs the American primatologist Dian Fossey under took her pioneering studies of mountain gorilla behaviour. Day hikes to see the gorilla families can be strenuous on tracks climbing through the forest, and time is very limited once contact is made with the gorilla families. It is a rare and memorable experience to visit with these giant cousins of man.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking in Pac des Volcanoes

Have breakfast and go to ORTPN offices for briefing after that set off in the forest for Gorilla trekking. A thrilling trek through the refined foothills of the Virungas provides inspiring views in all directions. Then, suddenly, the trail enters the national park, engrossing trekkers in the strange closeness of the rainforest, alive with the calls of colorful birds and chattering of the rare golden monkey, and besieged with fresh spoor of the mountains' elusive populations of buffalo and elephant. Through gaps in the forest canopy, the marvelous peaks are sighted, easily easy to get to and among the uppermost in Africa, indicating an ascent. Gorilla trekking is quite strenuous but a worthwhile on encounter of these gentle giants. The enthusiasm of your coming across with these apes will wipe away your intricacy of the strenuous trek. Spend time watching gorillas, watch the adults feeding their young ones, brushing and resting as the youngsters play from vines in a pleasurably playful display.

Day 3: Transfer to Uganda’s Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast we drive to Uganda and proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park. We go through stunning savannah grasslands as we head to the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. The game densities here are high, and this region has reported some of the largest herds of Elephant anywhere in Uganda, as it is their main migration corridor between Uganda and the DRC.
We continue and drive to the northern circuit which is the area near the main road known for its tree climbing lions. But we also visit the Uganda kob mating ground which is their preferred hunting area.

Day 4: Safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park, Game drive to see lions, leopard, elephant, buffallo, etc
We set out early in the morning for a game drive in the northern part of the park on the Kasenyi Track in search of lions, elephants, solitary buffaloes. This is the best time for opportunities of viewing the cats in action owing to the vast population of Uganda Kobs. We have an excellent chance to view just about every animal here at very close range. Return to the lodge for your breakfast, before heading out for a launch trip along the Kazinga Channel. This gives you the opportunity to view wildlife up close: hippo’s huff and spray at a mere feet away from the boat, buffalo linger in the shallows. The shores of the channel are also home to an array of birds including pink backed pelicans, pied and malachite kingfishers, saddle billed stork and many others.

This adventure experience journeys you to Parc National des Volcanoes (PNV) in the North of Rwanda where about 300 mountain gorillas live.
